Top Rated Ultrasonic DPF Cleaning in Salt Lake City, UT

DPF alternatives is the best! Was passing through and had some codes for NOX sensors. Went to the dealership and they tried to get me to replace the DPF. Called over here to see if they could point me in the right direction, Amy was super knowledgeable and connected me with the right diesel mechanic

Had some trouble with the DPF system on a Ford F650 of mine. Aimee not only helped me troubleshoot the problem for either a cleaning or replacement of the system But, once we determined that a replacement was the only solution, she sourced the part and recommend various options of reliable and fast mechanics. I received the part and in 2 days the truck was up and running. Thank you very much Aimee, I'll be recommending your services to my other tow truck driver friends 👍🏻

These guys are awesome! Always do great work and they are very detailed and knowledgeable

Amy referred a customer my way. We worked together to get him back on the road as fast as possible. She's knowledgeable, pleasant, patient and just a really fair, nice lady. We intend to refer as much business her way as we can. Thank you!

Amiee and her guys did a great job on my cooler. Picked up and delivered from truck stop. This is twice working with DPF ALTERNATIVES once in Salt Lake and Augusta with Mike. DPF found some great people to franchise with. Great prices and even better people!!!

I barely know where to begin with this review because there is so much awesomeness to report. First, we are two women who travel as professional cross-country drivers. We were driving through Montana late in the afternoon, when we began to realize our DPF was cycling far too frequently. We knew our DPF filter was having problems and was possibly getting dangerously clogged with soot. We still had nearly 600 miles before we reached our delivery destination the next morning. Unsure of the exact problem, we contacted DPF Alternatives of Salt Lake City, Utah. We spoke with Ammie who turned out to be one of the most knowledgeable people about DPFs that you can find. We were greatly concerned and honestly scared to death as we had just heard about another co-worker’s van with only 320,000 miles burst into flames and burn to the ground because of a clogged DPF filter. With our van clocking in at 526,000 miles, you can see why were horrified of the same thing happening to us. In rides Ammie on her white horse to save the day, or night in our case. She explained in great detail that was incredibly easy to understand without talking to us like we were dummies. Come on, I mean I have 526k miles in 4 years. I know a thing or two about the engines. But she explained how the DPF worked and what could be the issues with our van. Sucking about a quart and half of oil down every 700 miles or so. Buring more fuel than normal as well. She also assured us that although not impossible, but highly unlikely, we would bust into combustion going down the road. She said, keep an eye on it, take it easy, drive slow and don’t let the RPMs get too high. Did I mention she did all this after hours when she didn’t have to. She could have just said, hey call back in the morning. If she hadn’t returned our call we would have been white knuckled for the next 13 hours. Did I mention we were driving through Montana and Idaho before getting to Utah? Not a lot of good places to break down much less burn to a crisp. But again, Ammie talked to us and instructed us on what to do until we could get to SLC. The next morning, we arrived safely and called her back. She was able to find a diesel shop right away who could get us in, G&N Diesel in Draper who was also up and over amazing and helpful. Without her help and incredible knowledge, we would have been in a big world of hurt. If you ever have any DPF issues or concerns or just want to schedule a routine DPF cleaning, Call Ammie at DPF Alternatives at Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the your girl. Thank you Ammie.

This company is very professional and handled my DPF issue promptly!

Absolutely amazing customer service. Ammie was very knowledgeable to make sure we addressed the concerns with our DPF system without running around circles and wasting time and money.

I recently used DPF Restoration for a much-needed restoration service for our clients at Salvage Express, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the outset, the process was seamless—one phone call, and everything was set in motion. Unlike other companies I reached out to, which didn't even bother returning my calls, DPF Restoration was on the ball right away. Their pickup and return service was incredibly fast, exceeding my expectations. In addition to this efficiency, their pricing was fair, offering great value for the service provided. What truly stood out, though, was their exceptional customer service. Every interaction was smooth and professional, and Kenny, the driver, was particularly personable and pleasant to deal with. Overall, DPF Restoration made what could have been a stressful experience incredibly easy. They are a reliable choice for anyone in need of their services. Highly recommended!

Sorry my writing sucks but I just want to write that Amy is an angel on earth. I don’t even know where to start she is understanding just explain what’s is going on and she will help you a lot more people need to learn from her. Without her me and my family would not have a semi truck to get us bread on the table so what else am I going to say . Please please people before you go buy a 1 box that cost $15k. Trust me let Amy look at it first she saved us over $15k.

Amy and DPF Alternative of Salt Lake City literally saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary parts and repairs that the dealership had insisted were required in order for my vehicle to function properly. Amy located the part I needed, secured it and had it shipped to me, while the dealership put me on a list and had me waiting several weeks for the same part at 3 times the cost. I am grateful I called them, my experience was very pleasant and my family finally made it home safe thanks to Amy's advice, knowledge and experience.

Broke down out of town in salt lake city, thank God found Amy shop on Google. She helped me find a shop locally to remove my dpf and she cleaned it in record time. Thank you again so much

Ammie is hands down the most knowledgeable and helpful dpf/egr guru out there. I highly recommend giving dpf alternatives your business. They are the best.

We used to have dpf and doc's blown out and baked until the day that Robert Alverez came into this building and made those days disappear. Robert and his team at DPF alternatives have been the best to work with and utilize. Professionalism and customer relations are second to none and this comes from someone who is in the business of selling. Couldn't be happier that our paths have crossed.

I used their service a little over a year ago, and I remember talking to the owner (Amy) about their process in cleaning the DPF and I was blown away by her vast knowledge of how the system works. So recently I was getting codes that popped up indicating the DPF system and possibly full. So I instantly thought of calling Amy and sharing with her, some of the craziness that was happening with my truck. Without me making this review too long, we had a couple of long conversations and she felt there were possibly other issues (wiring and or sensor). I live here in Utah and a lot of the good repair shops are always a week to 3 weeks out, and since I use my truck to generate an income for my family, having the truck down for that long is a killer. I proceeded to ask Amy if she had any recommendations on good honest repair shops that could possibly get me in and of course she had several. Obviously we narrowed it down to 1 and she was willing to call them and share with them what was going on and try to get me in 1st thing Monday morning, which was a great relief to me. There’s much more I could say, but my experience with Amy and her company is extremely rare these days. So thank you Amy and Co.

Amy is awesome. Great service and pricing!

Is there a way to say big thanks to his beautiful lady who saved our trucks? These guys are super b! Top notch service, I almost never left a review, but this guys SPEND THEIR TIME TO HELP US(very long story) God bless this guys and this shop.

Amy spent half an hour giving me free diagnostics and advice over the phone and ultimately told me not to come to their shop because it's likely outside their scope of practice. Absolutely would go to them if I have anything within their purview.
