Highly recommend Vance and DPF Alternatives of the Panhandle! Great customer service, very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the job was done right. It’s hard to find people who genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their work. Super easy to do business with. The communication is the best. Highly recommend!!

Very professional. Brought our filter in and it was determined that the filter was no good anymore. They gave us multiple options to replace the filter and facilitated the whole process. Could not recommend more.

The service received from DPF Alternatives is great! The part was picked up on Thursday afternoon and we had it back in our shop the next day.

Great to work with. I highly recommend.

Called on a Saturday looking for a DPF. The parts I needed were readily available and I was provided with multiple recommendations for providers to change the DPF for us at the truck stop, where my truck was shut-down. The parts were taken to my truck to meet the mechanic. Who could ask for better service than that? "The DPF Guy" was super knowledgeable and great to work with. Highly recommended!!!!

DPF Alternatives of the Panhandle Vance helped me out greatly with a breakdown. Vance quickly obtained the replacement DP filters, clamps and gaskets that I needed. He also set me up with Max Mileage fuel additive made by Pittsburgh Power. I had heard about it as it is beneficial to preserve the DPF system and increase fuel mileage. Excellent service, help and advice. Much appreciated, thank you!

The sensors that I couldn't get off were removed and installed. These guys are awesome and I highly recommend them!

Great Service! Fast turn around and very professional results.

If you are having DEF problems, it may be beneficial to have your filters professionally cleaned at one of the DPF Alternatives location before you go to the dealership and get the "Diddy treatment". Vance took my filters to get cleaned and arrived the next day and now she is running like brand new. That fuel Borne Catalyst is expensive but I've heard good things from other drivers so I am giving that a shot. Thank you team.

Came to the shop I was at and picked up the filters. Returned them the next day during the time frame he promised. Great job, great communication and would deal with again. Will recommend him to others.

As one of the Head Technician at J. Lee Milligan, I’ve worked with Vance Schmidt at DPF Alternatives of the Panhandle for quite a while now, and they’ve consistently delivered excellent results. They’ve become our go-to resource for DPF cleaning and maintenance across our CAT equipment fleet. Whether it’s a dozer, loader, or excavator, every DPF we send their way comes back spotless and ready to perform. The improvements are always noticeable — better fuel efficiency, reduced regen cycles, and smoother overall operation. Vance is knowledgeable, honest, and always professional. He takes the time to explain what was done, provides clear reports, and never pushes unnecessary services. It's refreshing to work with someone who values long-term relationships and understands the demands of keeping heavy equipment running strong. If you’re running CAT machines and need a dependable DPF service you can trust, I highly recommend DPF Alternatives of the Panhandle. Vance has more than earned our business — and our respect.

The best place for DPF cleaning. Top prices Really good people vance goes out of his way to help us

Vance is super helpful and they have great prices. Would definitely recommend anyone to them for their DPF needs.

Very friendly service, and very helpful even after hours. Recomended.

This is a DPF service shop only, not a truck repair shop. The business is a secondary shop that a mechanic shop would send the DPF parts to after it has been disassembled. Vance is an organized friendly business man, whose business is run in that manner! I was able to come to the facility and learn more about the process. Where parts are treated, cooked then repaired and cleaned. Vance, worked on our Cummins X15 emissions system. Vance shows good knowledge and understanding of how DPF systems work and can advise on an expert level. There is a level of trust that you as a customer would want and it is here! At DPF Alternatives you will be treated to the highest level of professionalism that is out there. This business service is recommended!

Vance was super knowledgeable and very helpful. Glad to use his products. (Max Mileage)

I called DPF alternatives immediately Vance answered the phone. We discussed my engine code, and both of us agreed that my issue was the DPF filter. He even went out of his way to send me a photo of a parts diagram of what I needed to be remove. And gave very explanative directions on how to remove it. I dropped it off the very next day that we visited on the phone and got to pick it up the very next morning at 8 AM, that was less than a 24 hour turn around. That is unbeatable service. By his cleaning process that only costs a few hundred dollars. Compared to the end result of purchasing a new DPF filter for a JD 8235R. Which would of costed a few thousands dollars. We installed it all the codes went away and everything went to work just fine. Vance is very accommodating and very respectful to deal with.

Great service, fast turn around, had all seals and clamps to replace.

This has been a wonderful experience, excellent pricing. Not only was the service professional, but so was Vance, who performed it.

I got my filters and gaskets on time. Right when I needed them!

Fast , professional and informative. If you ever need anything Vance is the guy to call.

The service is second to none. When Vance says next day it’s next day. Highly recommended

Good prices ! And good people ! Well recommended!

I could not ask for better service. Vance has always been honest with me about what I needed and gone above and beyond to make sure that I get my parts quickly.

I experienced the dreaded clogged DPF fiasco. I called Vance. He came to the TA truckstop in Amarillo Texas. Picked up My DPF & DOC filters. Meet me there at the shop. We inspected the filters right there at the shop so there were no hidden surprises. I opted for the stage for cleaning, which is pretty much a double wash and vibration, a double blowout and then a dry and bake. That process got my filters within 99% of a brand new factory spec. I highly recommend DPF alternative And Vance for your after treatment needs of your commercial truck. Tell him ELBERT LONG Owner operator sent you.

Great service and fastest turnaround in Texas definitely has business with us

Talk about a group of guys that really aspire to provide top notch service! Vance and Randy know how to knock it out of the park. Plus the cost to clean a DPF verses buying new is a no brainer. Plus when we give them a damaged DPF they know how to repair it. And just so you know they also clean and repair SCRs, EGRs, turbos, clamps and gaskets for all, have available multiple fuel additives, oh and they can replace the bricks in a DPF is one is found breached or damaged. Great group. Great business. I’ve been using them for the last 5 years.

Vance is the man! Service is awesome and turn around times are impecable. His services have saved thousands of dollars! DPF alternatives do an amazing job!

We have been using DPF Alternatives for a while now. When we need a DPF and DOC cleaned we call and they will come to our shop and pick them up when and even deliver them back to us when they are cleaned. The cleaning they provide is excellent, and they offer different stages of cleaning. I have used other places and they don’t seem to do as good of a job.
